Well, I found Shawn's mothers house even though I went the round about way, I still made it there and set up my pottery pieces. The show is going to be really cute! Hopefully, I'll have pictures to share with you tomorrow. Shawn's stationery is so cute, i just love it and there is another lady there who paints glassware and it is precious. We'll see, I think its going to be a fun experience.

I just finished cleaning Kate's room. She picked it up and I cleaned it, vacuumed and cleaned the bathroom. I cleaned my kitchen floor, did laundry, and dishes so I'm feeling okay. the house isn't perfect but it will have to do for today.

rick's parents should be here sometime this afternoon and I'm going to get the girls at school soon. I have no idea how many people are coming over this evening or if that plan is still the one the girls are going with today. You never know with them.

Well its Friday and its going to be a busy day for me. I have to fire pieces this morning, clean, maybe exercise, get my items ready to take to Shawn's mom's house and then go to her house and set up, pick up Kate and friends from school, and some where in there, Rick's mom and dad are coming over to visit. Its going to be a whirl wind!

Thought I'd do a shout out to Jack, he got a 100% on his math test!! Yay! He worked really hard trying to grasp fractions and he did it! Go Jack.

Had a good day at preschool. It turned out to be really pretty outside which was so awesome! We played out on the play ground for a long time. I only had the girls there today. They are just too funny. I'm feeling a little better, thank goodness for mucinex. I need to get some claritin soon. Trees are starting to bloom and soon, everything will be covered with pollen. that just makes me sneeze thinking about it. Kids will be home soon. Kate wants to go to the tanning bed but I'm a little unsure about it. Jack has homework club and then baseball practice. Rick is thrilled that he gets to go up to the ball park at 7pm. Hi. I'm off to preschool early this morning b/c we have a meeting. It will be nice to see all my little friends again today as I wasn't there on Tues. I got a lot of painting and glazing done yesterday and I'll fire some pieces when I get home this afternoon. Joe woke up grouchy but he stayed up too late last night, he did receive all of his birthday calls though which was nice. He had a fun day and hopefully he can get to get early tonight. Grandma Mary

Grandma Maryann passed away on Sunday and tomorrow is her memorial service. I won't be able to be there but I thought I'd just say a few things on my blog.

Sweet Grandma Maryann, that is how I remember her. I am not sure if she was always sweet to everyone, I know she might have had a small temper but so do I so thats okay. She was a wonderful grandma, she loved all her grand babies and then some. Maybe I inherit my love for sweet little children from her. She always had strawberry quick in the cabinet and she let us sit on the counter in the house on purtscher drive. She never hesitated to grab a bowl and get the ice cream out and the strawberries. Her house was always in perfect condition, always! She played babies with me and loved brushing the dolls hair, I loved that. She had wonderful cheek bones and dimples, ones that a couple of my precious gifts have inherited. She would say, "come over here and let grandma ann see" She would sit and just listen to whatever we had to say, she loved knowing what we were doing and what we were interested in at the moment. I loved her and now I'm happy she is with Grandpa and family some where in heaven ,whole once again. She can see us now, and I know she is smiling with her hands clasped together right in front of her, smiling like she always did.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOE JOE!

Today is Joe's birthday. Wow, he is 8 years old. Crazy crazy! We are going to have cup cakes and ice cream tonight and he ordered pizza for his birthday dinner. He opened presents from his grandparents this morning and loves everything! Yay Joe!

Windy Wednesday

Hi. Just got home from running some errands this morning. Had to take kate to the ortho for her retainer fitting. She is scheduled to have her braces off on the 11th. Yay!! She really wanted them off before spring break and she will have them off before the beach. We went to Publix b/c we had no food in this house! I always feel so much better when the pantry is full. I also bought mucinex b/c I'm just not feeling so great. My chest is heavy and I really don't have time to be sick. So, I've made my coffee which is yummy and I've taken all my drugs this morning. I had a nice pottery party last night and I have to glaze and work in my office for a bit. The laundry is almost done except, I'm going to wash sheets today. I need to check the baseball schedules. Joe had practice last night but it was just too cold to up to the ball park at 7 so we didn't make it. I think its supposed to warm up this weekend. I hope so! We sure had fun with mom and dad here. Kate said this morning that she really wants them to move here! We do too. We want everyone to move here. :) Bye friends! See ya later.

I'm Back!

Hi Guys, I know you missed me but I was busy hanging out with mom and dad. We had lots of fun and they got to take part in our life. We went shopping, out to eat, more shopping, church, ball practice, and mom and kate got their nails done. I did not do laundry, grocery shop or clean or exercise while they were here so it is probably a good thing they went back today. We will miss them but they'll be back in 3 mo for our beach trip. Happy Easter

Hi. Well, it is still raining! We actually have puddles in the grass and Ralph does not like to go outside when there are puddles in the grass. Ewww, he doesn't like to get wet. anyway, he is off to the groomer this morning so it doesn't really matter. Kids are off to school and i have a lot to do today. Mom and Dad come in the afternoon, yay! I have to go grocery shopping, deliver the football banks, fire more pottery and clean a little bit. I did do some yoga last night and wow, I've really missed it. I should do another session today. Kate informed Rick and I that she is applying for the law academy at school for 9th grade. She really wants to get in so hopefully she will. She seems excited about being in high school which i totally can't believe its almost time for. Have a great day!

Hello. Well, as I predicted earlier, we had to stay inside for our play time at preschool. Boo Hoo. The kids always love running outside and it is nice to just have that break but it is Feb. and we don't always get go out. I'm tired today, I have a head ache and I think I need a power nap. I think we've gotten 25 inches of rain today alone! It is just raining, raining, raining. I hope that means we are going go to have a beautiful weekend. :) I'm firing the rest of the football helmets so hopefully, I will be delivering them tomorrow. Thats about it, I know totally boring.

Went to preschool this morning and it started out crazy. Thankfully by 10 or so things calmed down a bit and it turned out to be a nice day. We went outside for a long time as it was nice out and once the sun popped out it was actually warm. yay! i love that. I stopped by the grocery store after work and picked up some fruit and cereal as that is what i'm eating until the beach. soo, i've always read to buy organic strawberries so i was totally going to buy them until i saw that a pint was 7.99! Yes, 7.99 for a pint. Forget it. Who really buys those anyway? I bet they end up giving them to the produce guys b/c they sit too long. I only make 10.00/hr at preschool! Ugh! I ended up buying the toxic strawberries for half that price plus lots more so i can be even more toxic. Haters!

Talked to Rick this morning on my way to preschool and he said he was listening to Rick and Bubba and James Spann was on there, the mighty mighty James Spann. Anyway, he was saying there are several new reports that say the polar ice caps are growing, yes GROWING! and this is the coldest winter in a long time sooo, this of course will not be on the nightly news. I guess there is supposed to be a lunar eclipse tonight around 9pm, not sure if the clouds will be in the way.

Hump Day

Well, its Wed. and guess what? I'm working at pop today. Miss B is a grandma now and she is helping her daugther with the new baby soooo that means i get to go to playschool today. It'll be fun b/c it is nice out and we can play outside and I get to see V and M!! yay!

hello. well we are home from dance now and it was fun seeing one of my blogging buddies on the road going to dance. dance is only an hour so i dropped k off and then ran to the library and took my over due books in, found two more books and paid my late fee which was only 5.00. i'm not very good about returning books or movies. anyway, after that i ran to the grocery store and picked up some food and then went back to get k. i made rice and veggies for me and k and the guys are having pop corn chicken. i know, they should be eating rice and veggies too but they won't eat it so there! i'm also going to make my fav. apple dip. it is fat free vanilla yogurt and crunchy peanut butter all mixed up. it is wonderful! yummy! i have to glaze some more football helmets and work in my office a little bit, read with my precious 7 year old and then crawl into bed with my new books.:) yay me!

Is it Monday or Tuesday?

I hate three day weekends! Even though I don't work on Mondays at the preschool, having everyone home yesterday just threw me off my routine and I like my routine! Thankfully everyone made it to school okay and I had a nice day at preschool, it was just one of those days, this is the time of year that I'm done. I'm bored with winter themes and I'm ready for spring/summer!! I'm such a fair weather girl. It is a little too windy for my taste. I do not like my hair blowing all over the place getting stuck in my lip gloss. blah! I am not sure if this wind which is sort of unusual for our area is bringing in warm air or cold air, I am of course wanting it to be warm southerly gulf air but it doesn't feel like that. Anyway, it can stop any time. I think I'm going to take a little power nap before my precious gifts get home. Kate has dance tonight and Jack has baseball, thankfully, Rick does the baseball thing and I don't have to go to the park tonight b/c its going to be chilly. buurrrrriiieesss!

Fun Party!

Well, the birthday party went great! There were 6 boys there and they really got into the painting. I'm glad I printed the sheets with the nfl logos b/c a couple of them, I would have been struggling on. One did Auburn, one did half Alabama and half Saints, one did Green Bay, one did Raiders, and one did Saints and I can't think what the last one is. Anyway, it was a lot of fun and I can't wait to see them all fired and shiny!

Rick and I got a 3 mile walk in the afternoon, i love that, I needed it! We are all back to school in the morning.

Well, here we are on another holiday. I get to do a pottery party this morning. I'm excited b/c it is a friend of mine and her son is painting football helmet banks. I can't wait to see how they turn out! Other than that, I don't have much else planned. Here is a picture of a ceramic cross I painted over the weekend. I love it. I have about 5 more to fire and I can't wai to see them. I think they are really sweet. This is one is a little bigger than the previous lady bug one I had up here. I think this one measures about 4.5". Anyway, I think its sweet.

Hello, Just thought I'd let you know that I feel like I'm running a soroity around here. There are girls everywhere, back packs, bags, make up, food, towels, hair things, and music! What in the world. When its time for Kate to go to college, I think I will welcome it, I will miss her but you know it will be a good thing. lol.

Hi. well. today has turned out to be a beautiful day! We had major storms earlier, tons of lightning, thunder and rain! It is sunny and warm now, not at all what they were forcasting for today. I'm not complaining though. Joe is getting ready to go to a friends for a spend the night and then tomorrow they are going to a movie. Kate is lying low for now and not sure where Jack is. Sunday!

Hi. Well, it is a rainy day here but you know, i'm totally fine with it b/c I have lots to do upstairs and in my office. ( i love having an office.:) Anyway, I cleaned big time down on the main level yesterday, I mean I moved furniture and scrubbed floors and baseboards and windexed and rearranged furniture, i dusted and cleaned my dining room chairs. The house is a little sparkly and i love it! i think i'll work upstairs in the boys rooms and my room. I'm sort of getting the spring cleaning bug, I took down and put away all my wintery items and snowmen. Goodbye til next year. Ral and I walked a mile yesterday and I was going to come in and do more but I really did work hard cleaning so I decided I'd had enough. Kate had friends over and then she and maddie spent the night at a friends house. Today though, she is coming home after church, cleaning her room and working on her project. I'm going to sew a couple of pillows to take to the spring show and I'm going to work on a baseball canvas. Yes, I realize I'm a little obsessed with the canvases but I can't help it. Have a good day, i hope it doesn't snow 10" in the quads. Yuck!

Saturday

Hello. Rick and I were up early this morning. Not sure why but I guess its good to get an early start, not that I'll accomplish everything, haha. I crawled in bed around 9ish as the kids were all in the kitchen eating and talking. My Family Fun magazine came yesterday and I love to get ideas for preschool from it. There is an article about pureeing veggies and sneaking them in food. I'm not sure about that. It seems like a lot of mess and work when you can just give them a flintsone vitamin. haha, okay, I know it is better to get the real thing, maybe I'll try it. Probably not. I prepared three canvases last night and today I'm going to work on them. I also have to fire Will's gift for his party on Monday, I love bringing a gift to the party person whether it is an adult party or a child's birthday party. I also want to run to my junk store in bluff park. I think I might want to paint another window for spring. I loved the way the Christmas ones turned out. Jack has baseball this morning, Joe's coach is taking a relaxed approach which is great. He said last night that they aren't trying to break any world records at Shades Mountain, they're there to have fun and learn a little baseball. I love that. His coach is JPW's dad and his son on Joe's team is the 4th child, he knows that they're young and its okay to have fun! yay!

Friday!

Well, today has been busy and feel like I'm running in circles. Getting up at 6am does not mean I will get everything on my list finished. I did paint crosses today and I walked with Rick and then I went out to buy some canvases b/c I have some fun ideas that have to try and then it was time to get the girls at school and then we had to go to Maddies house to get her stuff and then we had to go to publix to get groceries and then I just kept picking up after people. Rick took the boys to baseball and the girls are upstairs getting ready for their friends to come over. I hear lots of music and screaming. Oh to be 13! The boys will be here in a min. Ralph can just feel it b/c he is standing at the door doing his little bark. I made a really yummy dinner. Qdoba has the most awesome lime/cilantro rice so I made some here at home and it was so yummy.

okay, this is the finished cherry painting that i hung in my family room. i love it! i still need to varnish it but i'm going to give it some time to cure. i love the way the crackle worked and once it is sealed and varnished it will be so great.

valentine cd from mom and dad

wanted to tell you all about this precious cd my mom and dad made me. it has the sweetest songs on it and i've put a couple of them on my play list. the paul simon one is adorable and i love the toby keith, huckleberry one too. i couldn't locate the roger whittaker, family song but i love it so much! i had sort of forgotten about it and when i heard it, i thought of our weddings, mine and karyn's and i thought that we will for sure play it at kate's and hopefully the boys. :) try to listen to them if you can.

change in plans

hi guys. well, i'm still here in my sweet little house. jill's father in law suffered a stroke yesterday so we cancelled our trip to nashville. :( i just had a weird feeling yesterday like it just wasn't going to happen even though i never would have guessed this is why. we'll reschedule and go another time.

now, on the home front. we are busy this evening. both boys have baseball tonight and kate is having friends over, so i'm sort of glad i'm here to help with all of that. today, i'm going to work around the house and work on some projects for the spring show on the 1st.

HAPPY VALENTINES!

Hi guys,

Had a great day at preschool. The kids had fun decorating their cookies and learning about valentines and passing out their valentines to their friends. I decided, that I love my job b/c I get to be one of the first people to introduce these school activities to the children. I love that. It was a really cold morning but it warmed up nicely and we even got to go outside today. Two teachers had to leave b/c their own children were sick at school. People are dropping like flies with the flu and other yucky viruses. Kate went back to school this morning. I'm sure she'll be tired when she gets home. My children at school all brought me fun little valentines. One even brought me a yummy drink from starbucks. They are all so thoughtful. You know I love them! My own kids were happy with their little gifts this morning. They each got something special and then 10.00 to itunes. Itunes is the best deal going right now, its a great gift for ten bucks. Rick gave me a sweet sweet card and one with a funny story. He went to the counter to check out and it rang up 6.55, Rick looked at the guy and said that he only wanted one, did he maybe ring it up a couple of times or something. The guy looked at Rick and said, nope, I only rang it up once. rick asked when cards got so expensive. The guy laughed and asked if he wanted to go pick another one out instead and he said no. haha, it is a pretty card but poor Rick.

tomorrow is my nashville trip. it will be fun to see music city! i'll have pictures on sunday when i get home. :) i'm off to do my laundry so i can pack.

Winter Weather

Hi Guys,

Well, it is wintery here once again. Boo boo. Hate that. It was bound to happen but man, I sure do love the warm days. Anyway, Kate is still home sick. She doesn't have a fever but she has no energy at all. I know there are tons of nasty viruses going around and I'm keeping her home another day. Thankfully, the boys are okay and I know the flu has been in Jack's class and Joe's.

I'm going to go shopping today and buy valentines gifts. I love valentines day, i have sweet memories of it and I think I really like that one gift is sufficient and no one expects more. I remember when I was probably in 4th grade mom bought me a pair of chambray jeans with eyelet trim on the bottom. I loved them!! I also loved the sweet little cards and candies. yummy. Maybe my 2's will bring me yummy candy tomorrow. I hope so.

Jack's baseball was cancelled last night due to rain. Jack and Joe have practice on Friday. I will be in Nashville. I'm starting to feel that panic feeling like I should stay home. I'm sure everyone will be fine with out me and I'm looking forward to seeing and experiencing Nashville. Okay, I have to call the school and let them know about Kate. Have a great day.

hi. just got home from preschool. had a good day but man were my girls fighting today. they were all being bossy to each other as girls will be and they were taking toys away and screaming. it was crazy. we did get to play outside for a long time which was great and we did a cute valentine project. i'm posting a picture of the cutest 11mo old in the whole world! i just want to munch on her sweet face. Hi Everyone!

Looks like another beautiful morning, the boys are on the bus and off to school. Kate is still home, I need to check on her but I know she is still sick. There are a lot of flu cases so I think i'll keep her home one more day. She just feels yucky, dizzy and nauseous. We'll see. Today in preschool we are doing valentines projects! I love valentines. It is supposed to rain later on today so I'm going to take my kids out early so we get our outside in. We've enjoyed such nice weather recently, very spring like but I think with the storms that are on their way, it is going to get cold again. :( Oh well. A couple of the trees around town have their purple blooms on them, I'm not sure what trees they are but they always bloom early. I love that. Jack has his first baseball practice tonight and Joe's is Friday. Yay baseball!

had a great lunch at yummy qdoba. i love their naked burrito with grilled veggies and picco salsa. yummmy! i had fun visiting with Lynda and i saw another friend there too. i have to say, that it is so nice to know people in my community. we've lived here almost 5 years and i love seeing people i know! not much else is going on . dinner is in the oven and joe is requesting a hot dog. what in the world? oh well. and they wonder why i don't cook a lot. noone eats it! ugh! so annoying.

Hi everyone. We just got home from church. Well, mass wasn't 4 hours but we had a first communion meeting after church and then we got jack from sunday school and then we went to academy so rick could buy baseballs for the boys to work with and then we went to arbys b/c we were all hungry. Now, I'm finally having a min. to sit and write. Last night was lots of fun at Valerie's. I got to paint with the girls and we just sat and visited and dished about school and kids and pregnancies. It was a true girls night. Also, I got to know one of the moms who has 2 daughters, one in Joe's class and one in Jack's grade. I was happy to get a girl's view of the 5th grade b/c having boys is a whole different ball game. I remember when Kate was in that grade and there was drama about friends and clothes and boys and hair. ugh! I think there is still that same sort of drama but I don't have to hear about it b/c Jack isn't involved. Thank goodness. I'm excited to see the the bowls we painted, they're going to be really cute.

Church was nice today. I love Fr. McDade's homilies. I also love seeing my friends there and my little 2's that I teach and have taught. We also found out that Joe has the same coach as last year for baseball, we just haven't gotten the call yet. I figured that as much but when I saw a friend who has a boy Joe's age and he plays ball too, I asked if they had heard who Will's coach is. She said they had already had a practice. I looked a little upset and said we hadn't heard yet. Well, she saw another friend who knew who Joe had and she was very sweet to let me know. I was worried that just didn't draft him as his shoe wasn't tied and he didn't hit the 4 pitches that were pitched to him and he wouldn't catch any of the pop flies b/c he had hurt his finger while warming up. Anyway, all is well and we are thrilled to be on Coach Paul's team again.

I'm going to fire some pieces today, try to finish the laundry that is only taking over our state now, not the world and hopefully get a walk in as it is so nice outside.

Hi. What a gorgeous day it was today! I took Ral for a walk and he loved it. He cracks me up when I take him for a walk. He has to peeeeeeee on every single mail box post. It is hysterical, seriously, by the time we are done, i don't think he should ever have to pee again. Also worked on a couple of new designs for my pottery. I'm trying to do new things, hope they'll be done tomorrow so I can fire on Monday. I'm ready to go to Valeries, I think I decided that my Grandma Maryann would be loving a lot of the blouse type shirts that are in style right. I'm wearing a new one I bought the other day and it has a fabric belt that goes around my waist, she was all about that waist line! Anyway, I'm off to paint with Valerie and friends.:)

Saturday

It is sooooooo beautiful outside today! I was sitting on my back deck in my beach chair reading a book. The sun felt so great! I could have fallen asleep. I might actually go back out there and pretend to read and just sort of "rest" my eyes.

Anyway, I've folded the laundry and now it needs to be put away but I don't want to rush into this so it is all sitting on my bed. Kate and friends are going shopping and Jack and his friends are searching for craw fish again. they are obesessed!

Going Out!

Guess What? Jack and Joe are both spending the night at a friends house tonight and Kate is having friends over here so that means Rick and I can go out to dinner. Sadly, I'm not hungry but I'm always up for a nice glass of wine and good converstation. What is crazy is that I'd really just like to pour my glass of wine and go down and hang out with Rick in his office. We usually end up watching some crazy hunting show or something but I don't mind the African dangerous animal hunts, those are pretty cool. Wow and I old or what? Maybe content is a better word for it.

joys of raising a teenage daughter

i went upstairs this morning to kate's bathroom to see what hair products she had up there. well, hmmm, funny thing but i found all of my hair products that i thought were gone. hair spray, aveda root lift, hair shine stuff, my face wash i thought i left in georgia. i'm scared to even look in her closet bc/ i know, i'm missing a couple of long sleeved t shirts, and a couple of cami's. i'm going to have to buy a little safe and lock my good products up so she can't get to them.

just got home from shopping. i did not see anything at the galleria this morning. really, nothing. well, now, i take that back b/c i did pick up a really fun necklace that i will have to hide from miss kate. she will love it. went to wal mart and picked up some things for the weekend. i don't like to buy tons of groceries on friday b/c the boys eat everything by sunday. i always buy some treats for the weekend. also, wal mart has these awesome scented candles. i found them when we lived in indy and i've bought them ever since. for christmas rick and the kids always buy me yankee but seriously, these are great for buying one or two every two weeks. they last really long. they are only 6.97. also bought the boys a couple of belts. i noticed that they don't have any that fit them any more. soo, now, i'm home, running the dishwasher and i'm afraid our laundry might actually take over the world if i don't get it folded!

Hi. It's Friday, it's sunny and it's going to be in the 60's today. Yay! I've already loaded the kiln and it is firing some new ideas and designs. I'm excited to see them. I love firing early in the morning b/c by the time it is finished, I'm ready to leave and I won't think about opening the kiln all day. It is so hard to not peek in there and see how the pieces turned out! Ugh! I've learned to be more patient with the kiln in my life.

I think I'm going to clean, exercise and then go shopping this afternoon. We need food and I'm hoping to pop into the galleria and see what is in a couple of my fav. shops. i got my hair trimmed yesterday. Wow, did it need it. It def. looks better. I still think it is a little too blonde but I don't have time to run over and have it done right now, so I'm just going to be a little too blonde.:)

Hmm, I guess thats about it. Kate mentioned something about having friends over tonight, who knows, that plan will most likely change 10 times between now and tonight. I know that I dont' have anything pressing tonight and that is great. Tomorrow is the painting party at V's house. Yay! Its going to be lots of fun. I'm excited to see her house too b/c she always makes it so cute with all her decorations. :)

Thursday Morning

Hello. Well we got the call from Jack's baseball coach and we are excited b/c it is his football coach from this past season. Yay! We really loved Coach Scott and its going to be fun to play baseball with him too. Also found out that one of Jack's good buddies is on his team too, Kyle doesn't go to Jack's school but they've played on baseball teams in the past and we just love Kyle. We might hear from Joe's coach tonight.

That is about it. That is all the news I have. Sun is out but its chilly, hopefully the play ground is not as yucky as it was on Tues. If it is fine, we're going outside!

Have a great day! Oh wanted to let you know that I've been pretty good about my exercising and all I really have to say about that is OUCH! But short and swim suit season isn't too far away espc. with our Destin trip looming in about 4.5 weeks so I'm going to be keep it up. My friend, Laura's daughter is trying out for cheerleading at the high school in a few weeks and she was telling me some of the conditioning things they have to do so i have been doing a couple fo them here at home. Try it if you have time see how long you can hold plank position, the cheerleaders have to hold it for 5 min. you can change from full plan on your hands and then go to your fore arms. I held it for 3 min. yesterday and my legs were shaking and arms too. They also have to do the wall sit for 5 min. Put your back up to a wall and then sit, you have to sit up straight but they key is to sort of use different muscles for the 5 min. you can put your weight in your heels and get a good booty work out, shift your muscles around. See how long you can old it. OUCH!

Okay, Yes, I realize this is sort of late to be accomplishing this task but Joe can tie his shoes! Whoo hoo! It was really just one of those things that we would just do for him b/c we were running out the door or whatever but we buckled down this weekend and worked on it and he got it! yay! He told his sweet friend, Sam yesterday that he didn't have to tie his shoes for him anymore and Sam said, aww, joe those were good times. so sweet. Gotta love 2nd grade and to have a buddy who'll help you tie your shoes. Anyway, Joe is moving on up and can do it all by himself. Next thing we know, he'll be announcing he has pit hair! lol!. okay, not really. man would jack be jealous if joe had pit hair before him. haha.

Hello. Its been a busy morning around here. Jack went to morning math group this morning so I took him to that, that is one trip down and up SSC road, came home grabbed Kate for her adjustment at the ortho, yes we were just there but she is soooooo close to getting those darn braces off and Dr. B wanted to make sure her rubber bands were right. Four weeks and those suckers are coming off! She can hardly stand it. That was another trip down and up SSC road. Ugh! I'm home now for the day. It is rainy out and I think its supposed to get cold out later on or at least colder than it has been. :( I wish every day could be 75 degrees. I have lots to do around here, laundry, dishes, clean my floors. They're so yucky. Have a great day.

Yesterday I was standing in my closet just looking around and rick asked what in the world I was doing? I told him I was trying to find something to wear. I seriously, needed to go clothes shopping. Yesterday, he came upstairs with a wad of cash and said, go shopping and buy yourself a bunch of new clothes. He said, do not buy anything for the kids, the house, the dog or myself, just buy for you. Okay, you don't have to tell me twice. I did some power shopping last night while kate was at dance and I found a bunch of fun things and amazingly when i got home, they all fit and I love them and i have cashola left over! yay! He is so sweet. :)

Hi everyone. Had a good day at preschool. We tried to go outside, two times but it rained both times we went out. It was crazy. The min. we'd get in to our rooms, the sun would come out. We eventually gave up and stayed inside. It is so warm today, I think high 70s and I'm loving it. Someone said that it is supposed to be in the 40s tomorrow. Oh well, at least maybe we'll be in for an early spring. I hope so. I stopped and bought something yummy for dinner tonight as it is fat Tues. I was going to pick up a king cake but I didn't think about it until I was in line and I think you might have to order them ahead of time. One of the twos brought one in today so we made sure the baby was in his piece. It was so yummy! I stopped on the way home from the grocery to vote and that only took about 2 seconds. I always see a neighbor there which is fun. It seems that it used to be such a secret who you voted for but it really isn't any more and I don't think it should be b/c if you believe in your person than you should tell people. I voted for Huckabee. Go ahead and build the fence around the borders, I'm all for it. Anyway, I just read that he won West Virginia, I'm sure he'll do fairly well in the south. we'll see. I always love voting. I talked to a couple of people today that still don't feel they know enough about the candidates to vote. I told them to get on my blog and take my quiz, see where they fall with their views. Anyway, I hope everyone got a chance to vote. :)
