Real Pop Corn!

Joe is a huge fan of popcorn. He loves it, eats it all the time. He definitley takes after his grandma Cj that way. I taught him tonight how to make popcorn on the stove. I have tons of memories of popping corn and smothering it with melted butter. Soo yummy! That was a huge treat when we had babysitters. We would pop corn and always put too much in on purpose so it would pop the lid up and all the pop corn would spill over!

I know! It was really really fun esp. when Susie Z. would sit and we'd see the scary ghost in the kitchen window and we'd all run away into the family room screaming and then someone would have to go back into the kitchen and get the pop corn! haha

oh how funny, I don't think that I knew about the scary ghost in the kitchen window...was it that character that used to supposedly walk through Peoria Heights, can't remember his name though!

haha his name was chestnut and not it wasn't him. it was just something we made up or pretended to see and then we'd all get scared.
