Great Day!

Hi, The kids are home from their first day of school and everyone had a good day. Jack and Joe were both chosen to be a buddy to a new student in their class. Being a buddy is just sort of sweet, it gives the new kid an insta friend, someone they can hang with while they're finding their way at school. It is 107 degrees outside! Wow, that is hot. Joe said they got to play outside for a little while but Jack said that several 5th graders got sick from being outside so his class didn't go. Way too hot. Kate had a good day too. She wore her new shoes which are very tall and I worried all day that she was going to fall in them but she didnt so that is good. I did manage to fold some clothes and do a little cleaning. I think it's really going to be next week before I get going on the house. It's just nice to be able to think during the day. AHH! Love that. Ralphie was so excited to hear the bus pull up to the front of the house. He loves it when the kids are home. We don't have football or dance tonight so it's going to be a nice hot night.
