Jack called about an hour ago and reported that he shot his first deer! He was so excited, he said it isn't a big one but big enough. He and Rick were going to drop the deer off for donation and then go to breakfast to celebrate. I'll have pictures later. I think this maybe made up for the loss yesterday.
Not a good day for football in the Leventry house. Junior Panthers lost, Alabama lost, Auburn lost, Rock Island lost. :( At least Hoover won and Illinois beat Ohio State so that's good!

jack congrats on a tremendous season in just your first year offootball. i am sad that you lost your last game, but sometimes we learn more from a loss than a win. the real champions are the ones that may get knocked down but are able to get right back up. also good shoot on the deer. you the man
