What is it about a holiday that makes me sit and write? Well, this memorial day weekend has been rainy and yucky but it has been nice to be inside and just do nothing. Last weekend, I painted the dining room and I feel like the house is finally coming together after six years of living here. What in the world take so long to get that "homey" feeling? I found a great area rug at the Depot! 40.00 for a berber carpet 6x8 area rug. It looks great in the tv room and helps make the space comfy. Now, I'm on the hunt for a black sisal rug for the dining room. I love the British Colonial decor and sisal is such a part of that look. It is the perfect material for our busy,dirty family!

Joe and I went to Wal Mart this afternoon to stock up some things for the week. They are totally redoing our wal mart and I really don't like it! Geez! Everything is flip flopped and backwards. GRRRR!

I've been getting into my yoga once again and enjoying it. This week though, I'm making a chiropractor apt. My sister said that she feels like she's been through several boxing matches since she has had kids. I think that is a great way to describe the way I feel too! I also found a dentist for Rick and I. Now that we are 40 and almost 40, it is time to take super good care of ourselves! We have lots of fun years ahead of us with the kids and I want us to look and feel great for all of it!
