Mothers Day
Hi. I'm sitting here on Sunday evening watching the sun start to come out. Geez, it has been gloomy all day! It's Mother's Day. For some reason, Mother's Day is just weird to me. I know that is strange and I can't really explain it. Anyway. It has been a good day, we all just took naps and relaxed. This is my last week of preschool and I'm excited to start the summer! The kids are all so very ready to be done!

I would have thought that Mother's Day had some extra special meaning for you!
I know what you mean, though. Mother's Day is kind of weird and sometimes feels forced. I'd rather my family appreciated me throughout the year by picking up their dirty clothes and emptying the dishwasher once in a while! And hey! Flowers and/or chocolates would be nice any day of the year. Tuesday. Thursday.

love the blog, Mother's Day is weird. It is like forcing our children to us how great we are! even if at that moment they don't think so. I love just hearing from my kids often, knowing that they are happy. Presents are nice but the every day reality is nicer!
